I’ve been brainstorming how I would ask my friends to be bridesmaids in my wedding since the day after my boyfriend turned into my fiance (honestly, it was probably at like 3am the same night - I couldn’t sleep because I was so excited and felt like I had to start planning IMMEDIATELY!).
I knew I wanted to do something special to show them how much I love them and also wanted to provide an opportunity for them to get to know each other better since they’re not all necessarily connected (I have 5 total - my childhood BFF who grew up across the street from me, my bestie who I became inseparable with in high school, two of my college roommates who turned into lifelong great friends, and my future sister-in-law). I decided to host a brunch to formally ask them! As it turns out, this would be the last time we’d see each other for quite a while as just a week or so later the world shut down due to the pandemic.
I looked on Pinterest and Etsy for gift/ask inspiration and ended up ordering boxes and goodies to put in them all separately.
Personalized Boxes from LetsVinylizeIt on Etsy (~$14 each)
Can Coozies from icecreaMNlove on Etsy (~$4 each)
Cute Custom Wine Tumblers from MakingItMcCubbin on Etsy (~$20 each)
“Friends” mug from Suchmugs on Etsy (~$29 - I only got this for my MOH)
Mini bottles of Champagne (~$5 each from my local liquor store - got my MOH a full-size bottle since poor girl is gonna have to be dealing with my wedding planning antics for a year and a half!)
Chocolate ($20 for a few bags of Dove, Ghirardelli, and Ferrero Rocher from my local grocery store)
Bar: Champagne, prosecco, rose, vodka, OJ, pineapple OJ, iced coffee, Truly
Food: Check out my Host Your Own Brunch post for ideas!
PS - We also got these cute puzzles from Eclipse3Design on Etsy to ask our ring bearer & flower girl!
